Rebekah Townsend

Rebekah is a Senior Manager in the Tax department of BDO Northern Ireland, with a focus on Corporation Tax and VAT.  Rebekah graduated with a First in Law with Politics from Queens University Belfast in 2009, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor in the Corporate Tax department of a Big 4 tax practice in Bristol, where she stayed for 9 years.  She then spent three years managing corporation tax compliance and VAT compliance in an in-house tax department for a large waste management company, before returning to Northern Ireland and joining BDO in 2021.

Throughout her career, Rebekah has worked with a wide range of corporate clients – from listed, FTSE 250 entities to small local businesses, and has considerable experience in corporation tax accounting and compliance, as well as VAT compliance and advice.
