BDO NI welcomes 17 new recruits as 15 turn previous experience into permanent careers
BDO Northern Ireland has welcomed 2 Tax HLA students and 15 new graduate trainees to its 2026 cohort, with the latest intake joining across the firm’s three main business streams, Audit, Tax and Business Advisory.
In addition to two HLA students, all joining graduate trainees are familiar faces to the firm, having previously participated in early career recruitment initiatives ran by BDO NI, including work experience, internships and placements. Their decision to return and join BDO NI on a permanent basis is a strong reflection of the relationships built through these programmes and the experiences they have gained with the firm.
Welcoming the new cohort, Laura Jackson, Partner and Head of Audit said:
“We couldn’t be more excited or prouder to welcome this talented group of people to the firm.
“The fact that all our graduate trainees have come through previous firm initiatives is a real testament to the strength of our early careers programmes and, importantly, to the teams across our business who invest their time and expertise in developing the next generation of talent.
“Building those relationships early, creating meaningful experiences and giving people the opportunity to see where a career with us could take them is fundamental to how we develop future leaders. We’re incredibly proud to see those relationships now translate into the next generation of the BDO family.”
The 2026 intake will now begin their training and development journey with BDO NI in their offices in Belfast gaining experience across their respective areas while working alongside colleagues and clients across the business.
