BDO Northern Ireland joins as a Friend of the Ulster Rugby Foundation

As part of this commitment, BDO will help fund initiatives that promote lifelong participation in rugby and expand opportunities for individuals and communities to engage with the sport.

Laura Jackson, Partner at BDO Northern Ireland, said:

BDO Northern Ireland are delighted to become a Friend of the Ulster Rugby Foundation. As an organisation we have an intentional emphasis on the importance of diversity and inclusion, advocating for an environment where everyone can participate and thrive, take part and succeed.

“Having witnessed the impactful work of the Foundation, and understanding the unique benefits participating in team sports can bring, we felt compelled to support the Foundation in helping to create opportunity for all and lifelong participation.”

The Ulster Rugby Foundation works to raise and distribute funds that directly support the amateur game, improving health, building resilience, and fostering a strong sense of community through rugby.

David Johnston, Head of the Ulster Rugby Foundation, added:

“We’re thrilled to welcome BDO Northern Ireland on board as a Friend of the Foundation. Such support from businesses help us to continue contributing to initiatives that deliver meaningful programmes that open doors for people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in rugby.”
