MAIN DUTIES

1. Take a proactive role in the Firms merger and acquisition service including purchase, advisory, mandates and research sales linked to deal origination
2. Preparation of due diligence reports
3. Production of business plan projection models
4. Analysis of financial information and identification of key commercial issues
5. Involvement of marketing activities and development of own network of contacts
6. Preparation of proposals
7. Attendance and participation in proposals
8. General corporate finance advisory services
9. Any other duties relevant to this position

Qualifications
Essential Criteria

• CA / ACCA Qualified

Relevant Experience
Essential Criteria

• Experience of working in a financial environment

Desirable Criteria

• Experience of working with clients, banks or other financial institutions and private equity houses
• Experience of developing and maintaining databases
• Experience in identifying sales and acquisition opportunities for clients and potential clients

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Capable of interacting at a senior level with clients, potential clients, banks and other funding bodies
• Business development skills and working to targets
• Commercially aware and ability to stimulate merger and acquisition opportunities

• Excellent IT skills
• Interest in local business activity

Circumstances

• Available to work outside normal working hours when required
• Driving licence and access to a car or form of transport to fulfil the requirements of the post
