ROLE OVERVIEW
The BDO Stoy Hayward Tax Practice has a reputation of being one of the largest and leading tax advisors in Northern Ireland. The Corporate Tax Manager role is key the success of the team and provides the post holder with the opportunity to manage a client portfolio and develop client relationships
MAIN DUTIES
To undertake and manage corporate tax compliance portfolio.
To undertake and manage various tax consultancy projects including for example, transfer pricing assignments, tax-efficient extraction of funds, company reorganizations, capital gains planning.
To assume responsibility for supervision of staff and contribute to their training and development.
To manage client relationships to ensure that business opportunities are optimised.
To deliver presentations and training workshops to staff, introducers and/or clients, on various tax planning opportunities or compliance issues to maximize business opportunities.
Any other duties relevant to this position.
QUALIFICATIONS Essential Criteria
ACA and/or
CTA (ATII) / Inland Revenue Inspector Exams
Relevant Experience Essential Criteria
Corporation tax background
Good accounting knowledge
Practical experience of tax consultancy projects
Up to date knowledge of recent tax developments
Desirable Criteria
Managing corporate tax portfolio
Responsible for creating and identifying tax planning opportunities
Specialist tax niche
Experience of delivering assignments within tight deadlines.
Experience of working at a senior level with partners and clients.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
IT skills.
Organisational and planning skills
Team skills both in managing a team, and in working as part of a team.
Capable of interacting at a senior level with clients.
Business development skills, and in working to targets.
Other Essential Criteria

Driving licence and access to car or a form of transport to fulfil the requirements of the post
